A brief history of Lake Mary Florida
Lake Mary incorporated in 1973. The city is named after Mary Sundell. She and her husband, Rev. Sundell, settle near the lake in the late 1800's. The city mainly produced agricultural products until in 1880 when it became a stop on the railroad that ran between Sanford and Orlando. Over the years the community blossomed into the upscale, prominent community it is today.

We are at 4th Street in downtown Lake Mary. There are so many cool sidewalk cafés, boutiques and small businesses, next to the iconic Central Park.
Across 4th Street you will find Central Park and City Hall. This place has a really great eclectic vibe. On Saturday’s we have the Farmer’s Market, where all the local merchants showcase their fruits & vegetables and also on Wednesday’s we have the Wine Art Wednesday, which is a great place for residence and visitors alike.
