Victoria Park

Victoria Park is a wonderful community made up of many different neighborhoods, all situated among parks, lakes,  and natural conservation areas. It’s tucked away in the quaint, historic, college town of DeLand, FL.

DeLand is a city in Florida with a rich history dating back to the early 19th century.  The city was named for its founder, Henry Addison DeLand, and incorporated in 1882. It was the first city in Florida to have electricity. Today, Deland is home to over 37,000 people and is known for its small-town charm, Victorian architecture, and commitment to the arts. The city hosts a number of annual events, including the Deland Fall Festival and the Deland Indie Market, and is home to a variety of museums and galleries. Thanks to its vibrant community and abundance of historical landmarks, Deland provides a unique window into Florida’s past.

DeLand is known for being the home of Stetson University, one of the oldest private colleges in Florida. The university enrolls over 4,000 students from all over the world and offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs. Stetson University is also home to the Museum of Art – DeLand, which features rotating exhibitions of contemporary art as well as a permanent collection of works by American artists. 

With its convenient location just off I-4, DeLand is the perfect home base for exploring all that Central Florida has to offer. DeLand is just an hour from Disney World and 30 minutes from the coast, making it the perfect place to call home. DeLand is a great place to get outside and enjoy the Florida sunshine. Take a walk or bike ride on the miles of trails that weave through DeLand’s parks and nature conservation areas. Get out on the water at one of the city’s many lakes or explore the St. Johns River by canoe or kayak. DeLand is also home to a variety of shops and restaurants, so you can always find something new to explore.
