A New Chapter for Heathrow Tennis

There is exciting news on the horizon for tennis at Heathrow.

At a recent meeting at Heathrow, members were introduced to plans for Mouratoglou Tennis Center to take over the management of the Heathrow Racquet Club in 2027. For those of us who love tennis and appreciate what makes Heathrow such a special place to live and play, this could represent the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

The Mouratoglou name carries an extraordinary history in the world of tennis.

Founded by renowned coach Patrick Mouratoglou, the Mouratoglou organization has developed one of the world's most recognized tennis coaching methodologies. Patrick has coached or mentored some of the biggest names in professional tennis, including Serena Williams, Naomi Osaka, Simona Halep, Grigor Dimitrov, Holger Rune, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, Aravane Rezaï and Yanina Wickmayer. The Mouratoglou Academy has also played an important developmental role with young stars such as Coco Gauff, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alexei Popyrin.

Perhaps the most impressive example is Serena Williams. Patrick Mouratoglou coached Serena beginning in 2012, during a remarkable period in which she won 10 Grand Slam singles titles and returned to the No. 1 ranking.
