Papa Joe’s Pizza Lake Mary Location Closing After 25 years
It is with a heavy heart that I, Mike, inform you that our family business will be closing its doors in the Lake Mary location. As many of you know, Papa Joe, my father, is the owner of this business and I assist in running it.
The past year with COVID has been challenging for us, and we have been struggling to find enough workers to keep our store running smoothly. This is not a financial decision, as the store and our loyal customers have been incredibly supportive of us.
My father and his partner are eventually planning to retire, but they are not quite ready to do so yet. They hope to continue being involved in the family business they started.
We do have two other locations – one in Altamonte and the other in Heathrow. The Lake Mary location was situated in the middle of these two stores. Our plan is to redistribute the team from the Lake Mary store to our other two locations, so that we can continue to serve you in the best way possible. We do not want to let anyone go, as our employees are as important to us as we are to them.
I want to express that this decision is very difficult for me personally. I have put my heart and soul into that location and have formed relationships that will last a lifetime. I am truly grateful for those memories.
We hope that you will continue to visit us at our other two locations in Altamonte and Heathrow. We have been in the Lake Mary location since 1997 and are grateful for the 26 years of business there. Our Altamonte location has been open for 35 years and Heathrow for 19 years. We value each one of you who has been with us throughout this journey.
