Low Income Senior-Living Facilities needed in the Orlando, FL Market


Currently, the market for senior living communities in the Orlando market still has gaps.  Establishments for lower-income seniors are being ignored as more multimillion-dollar communities are being built.  J.P Hurd of Welbro Building Corp, Inc. says “There are fewer options for moderate senior living.”   Historically the trend for senior communities is high-end facilities with amenities such as indoor pools, spas, and theater rooms.   Moderately priced communities charge approximately $1,500 per month for rent and a fee for services and amenities.  The vast majority of seniors may not be able to afford amenities that there is a need for.
