Condo shoppers have a new eye opening experience when looking for condos in Volusia County.  Median prices for beachfront condos increased 36 percent since July of 2014.   The median price of condos rose to  $220,000 according to the Florida Realtors.  The real-estate market in Florida continues to increase fueled by fear of higher interest rates and  job growth.   In Orlando, prices for condos increased 15 percent making the median price $155,000.  The price point for a single family house in Seminole, Lake, Orange Counties was $200,000 in August.  Our region still has its inventory of foreclosures and ranked ninth in the nation for foreclosures.
