Britain and Canada is the top two countries of origin for visitors coming to Orlando, but a fat growing, heavy spending contender for the top spot is Brazil.  It is expected to challenge Canada and Britain in terms of spending in the next five years.

In 2011, 550,000 Brazilian travelers came to Orlando which is 100,000 more visitors than in 2010.  The Brazilians spent more than $797,500 million here.  Canadian visitors held the number one slot with 960,000 visitors, while Britain came in at number 2 with 839,000 visitors to the region. The typical Brazilian traveler spends abut  $1,450. per person, per trip which equates to as much as $870,000 million in spending.
