Today we are going to explore an intimate hidden gem rich in history & roots just 4 miles north of downtown Orlando called Winter Park Florida. In the early years, Winter Park was a hot spot for vacationers from the Northeast that enjoyed the resort style town of Winter Park. Today we are at the Alfond Inn, formerly known as the Langford Hotel.

We have arrived at Park Avenue the shopping capital of Winter Park. You’ll find 140 upscale boutiques, sidewalk cafes, museums, and the beautiful Central Park. Central Park is 11 acres of green space of beautiful lawns and canopied trees. You’ll see the SunRail running right through the middle of the park which is a huge commuter spot for Winter Park.
