Lake Mary High School has a policy which aims to teaching students to be more responsible.

High School students who may forget their lunch, back pack or homework may realize it is not as easy as calling

your parents to drop your items off to you any longer.   Drop-off policies vary from each school in Central Florida, but many do allow  forgotten items to be  dropped off for the students.

Lake Mary High School bans drop – offs.  The school will no longer accept items for students to be dropped off such as back packs, homework, sports equipment and lunches.

Principal Michael Kotkin will provide a lunch for the student but he feels students need to show up to school prepared for their school day.  The policy at Lake Mary is among the toughest in the region.

Other schools such as Oviedo High School also have adopted the same policy.
