Businesses are looking for more ways to positively impact their bottom lines and energy efficiency is a quick, easy and environmentally friendly way to manage energy use and save money. Indoor lighting upgrades can save up to 40 percent on lighting energy costs. Installing cccupancy sensors can save up to 30 percent on lighting energy costs. Upgrading to a more efficient heat pump will conserve energy or changing from strip heat to a heat pump will save money. Increasing the ceiling and roof insulation helps maintain the desired interior building temperatures and saving up to 15 percent of heating and cooling costs.
