If you’d ask me back, I’d say it’s the awe-inspiring beachfronts that pull me closer. But others would hesitate to say it aloud because of the privacy issue. Some people believe that privacy would be at stake if they live in a beachfront community. Mum’s the word? You’ll lose the chance to say your piece.

Certainly, there could be public beach access. In Florida, ocean beach is public. What does that mean? Well, anybody can enjoy the water and the panorama. Any person can freely lie anywhere seaward in front of your estate. Would you consider the beachcomber an intruder?

Whatever your contention may be, Orlando remax realty would surely agree that beach access could be limited in some ways. Consider the gap of your estate to the high-tide mark. So as not to be worried about your privacy, be sure that you have ample space in between.

Stunning yet serene. Those are the words that perfectly describe my dream haven. But just when I am starting to think that it’ll be quite impossible to find such place here in America, I found this small city in Seminole County, Florida. And yes, it’s a Lake Mary FL real estate!

I’ve found it (thanks to the suggestion of my very good real estate agent). The gorgeous Mediterranean community, which flaunts luxury without underrating tranquility, has this handsome brick house overlooking an irresistible garden. Mesmerized, I stared at it for a while. Overwhelmed, I think I wanted to stay much longer. I love the estate home. I love the environment – the beckoning trees and the exotic flowers surrounding it. I love the golf community. Yes, I love its totality. It’s the perfect haven I’ve long been searching for.

True, the sight was breathtaking. Matter of fact, after seeing the place, I found myself in front of my computer trying to exhaust all information I could about Lake Mary and the sense of community I will be facing as soon as I decide to move in.

What did I find out?

Well, I found that the city takes pride in its commitment to sophisticated living. To note, it is now one of the fastest cities in Central Florida when it comes to development. Business, education, recreation, and other things necessary for an excellent life – name it, they’re all there. So, would you blame me if I decide to retire there or maybe live there as soon as I can?

With Florida as the leading state visited by tourists each year, and with Central Florida enjoying its fair share of almost half of these tourists, the place really offers a lot of opportunities. It does not only contribute to the tourism industry of the state and the nation but also holds a lot of promises to investors who are venturing out into new industries and to businessmen who want to expand their trade.

Stock Cross Financial Services Inc. launched a new Lake Mary based division - Stock Cross Global on July 23rd, 08.  The Beverly Hills, California based firm is leasing about 3,000 square feet of space at 195 International Parkway in Lake Mary for its new location.  This is the seventh location nationwide.

This division represents a focus for the full-service discount broker services.  What is very interesting in this concept is Stock Cross Global will provide other brokerage firms with access to all the markets worldwide, instead of having to put employees in international markets.  This is a very cost prohibitive for many firms in the U.S. to have a presence or access to every market around the world.

The Celebration Hotel encompassing 115 hotel rooms will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers!  The team is in Orlando for its preseason training camp.  Training is from July 25 to August 14th during which time the players are expected to consume 10,000 pounds of meat, 250 gallons of milk and thousands of eggs during their 20 day stay at the hotel.  This will be the seventh year the Tampa Bay Bucs have stayed at the Celebration Hotel.  This hotel is AAA rated as a four-diamond hotel.

Star Wars fans may be gathering in Orlando for Celebration V which will be a four-day event at the Orange County Convention Center.  Orlando is competing with Minneapolis, Chicago, Indianapolis an Baltimore.  A decision as to where the convention will take place could be made within 6 months.

The event was held in Los Angeles last year and attracted about 30,000 of the Star Wars buffs.  A convention of that size would have an economic impact of approximately $36 million and would be one of the largest conventions in the Orlando area.

Harkins Cos. is building a $1.5 million , 5,200 SQ. Ft. M&I Bank branch on Rinehart Road in Lake Mary, FL expected to be complete by the end of 2008. 

Another M&I branch location will be started in Tavares during the month of September.
